Tap Master Installation

Detailed instructions including photos are included with your Tap Master. This is just an overview of installing your Tap Master and a few tips to make everything go smoothly. Installation is easy and you can do it yourself. The Tap Master comes fully assembled so, essentially, all you need to do is connect the filtration system to you sink. There are 4 connections to be made. Many sinks come with a extra hole that you can use for installing your Tap Master spigot. Your sink may already have hole for a soap dispenser, or the side sprayer, or you may need to drill a hole in your sink to install the spigot. Drilling the hole in the sink is by far the hardest part and, given that you have the proper drill bit, that's not very hard either.

Drilling through a porcelain sink may take 45 minutes, drilling through metal sink may take about 25 minutes. Be sure to take your time because your drill bit will get hot.

Recommended drill bits:

  • 1/4" metal drill bit with cobalt tip
  • 1/2" metal drill bit with cobalt tip
(not required if sink has a pre-drilled hole)
  • 1/2" masonry drill bit
(not required if sink has a pre-drilled hole, or if sink is not porcelain)
